Juventus and Pirlo record a new recruit
Winner of the last 9 editions of the Serie A, Juventus of Turin has no intention to lift a foot. And, since the arrival of Andrea Pirlo, the club is changing with several departures, but also arrivals. After the recruitments of Morata, Kulusevski and McKennie, the Piedmontese club has decided to recruit the Italian midfielder of Udinese, Rolando Mandragora.
Despite the presence of Rabiot, Bentancur, McKennie, Ramsey and Arthur Melo, Juve wanted to reinforce their midfield. After several searches, the management of the Italian championship club chose 23-year-old midfielder Rolando Mandragora.
Mandragora was recruited by Juve in 2016 for 9 million euros. But since then he hasn’t played for the Turin outfit and has been loaned out to every mercato. Last season, Juve even decided to sell him to Udinese for 20 million euros, but had the good idea to include a buy-back clause.
It was this clause that was activated by the club to take over the Italian player.

Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus is still in the break, but it launches the big manoeuvres in this last turn of the mercato. If the team from Turin is very strong offensively, the Italians haven’t finished their recruitment yet. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the transfer of Federico Chiesa is well on the way to materialize.
Weston Mckennie, Arthur and Alvaro Morata came to fill the ranks of the Old Lady on the occasion of this transfer deal. Italian training should not stop there. The Italian champion would indeed be on the verge of completing the arrival of Chiesa, from Fiorentina.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta reports that the two clubs have reached an agreement for a transfer estimated at €60m, to be paid over four years. In detail, it consists of a €20m paying loan, plus a €35m purchase option and €5m in bonuses.
However, the Italian club is struggling to find outlets for its undesirables such as Rugani, Douglas Costa and Khedira.
