Rumour or Truth: Ronaldo wanted to swap Juve for PSG
After guiding Juventus, to a record-ninth consecutive Serie A crown, this season, Ronaldo seemingly confirmed his intent, to remain with the club, after sharing his desire, to retain the title again in the 2020/21 campaign.
According to France Football, however, the 35-year-old considered leaving the club, earlier this season, after voicing his desire to join Paris Saint-Germain, where he hoped to team up, with Brazil superstar Neymar, and French wonder-kid Kylian Mbappe.

The prestigious, France Football magazine, writes that Cristiano Ronaldo, was considering a transfer, to Paris Saint-Germain from Juventus, before everything in the football world, was complicated by the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The 35-year-old Portuguese star, joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018, and has managed to win, both Serie A seasons, since his transfer.

However, according to France Football, Ronaldo was not at all impressed, by Juventus’ performance, before the end of the season, in March due to the coronavirus, and was considering leaving.
The same media reports, that Ronaldo wanted to move to PSG, because he wanted to play alongside, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, because of the good friendship, with the Brazilian, and they say he really likes Mbappe.

The Portuguese striker realized, that Juventus were not receiving, as much attention as clubs from Real Madrid, or the Premier League.
As a result, he began to consider leaving Juventus, and forging a dangerous attacking partnership with Neymar and Mbappe at PSG.
The Covid-19 pandemic
However, the Covid-19 pandemic, has ruined out such a transfer because PSG, like other European clubs, are in financial crisis and cannot afford Ronaldo’s transfer.
The Portugal international reportedly first toyed with the idea of moving to Paris in October last year after feeling frustrated by the Bianconeri’s performance in a 2-1 UEFA Champions League win over Spartak Moscow.
